Our in-home approach gives you convenience and gives your child the most relaxed environment possible.
Imagine the ideal location for your child to focus and learn.
Is it a place that’s new to your child? Are there lots of other kids running around? Is it an intimidating place full of unfamiliar faces? Probably not.
The ideal location for your child to focus and learn is likely familiar, quiet, and convenient. In fact, it’s right at home.
That’s why our expert mentors come to you, at home where your child already feels comfortable and relaxed and where you can watch your child’s progress first hand. Our in-home approach offers significant advantages to your child without disrupting your lifestyle:
You get the security of a long-term relationship.
At learning centers your child may be passed around to multiple tutors. Children benefit most from a single point of knowledge and the trust that comes from a long-term mentoring relationship. One of the most powerful determining factors of your child’s success is the mutual respect that develops between mentor and student. Your child will learn to believe in his or her own success, trusting the mentor’s encouragement. This belief is critical to achievement.
You know you are getting the best value.
Learning centers have considerable overhead costs, such as water, power, and rent. As can be expected, they pass that cost on to their students. As a result, learning centers tend to be more expensive than our in-home solution. Fyrebrite does not lock you into any contract. We seek to earn your business everyday.
You minimize the distractions your child faces.
Your child spends all day surrounded by commotion from other kids. It’s especially easy to lose focus when you’re struggling. Why send your child to a learning center with the same distractions? In the quiet and comfort of home, students find a renewed concentration without the disruption of other kids.
You know that your child is getting the customized attention they deserve.
Your child is unique…Do the learning centers know that? Learning centers typically have several students assigned to one tutor at a given time. Each time he or she may have a different tutor. Under those conditions, how could a tutor possibly address each student’s specific talents and learning style? The answer is that they can’t. Only our one-on-one approach can.
You maximize your child’s learning time and your convenience.
Many kids leave school only to be whisked off to all sorts of extracurricular activities and then to a learning center to get tutored. In such a whirlwind of activity, little time is left for homework, family, or friends. The last thing you want is the added stress of running you and your child ragged. Why waste time fighting traffic driving to and from a learning center? Let the learning come to you. We bring back balance to you and your child.
You can feel confident your child is excelling.
Being able to witness and actually take part in your child’s supplemental education affords you confidence in his or her progress. You cannot be as confident when you drop him or her off at a learning center. In fact, you have very little knowledge at all of how your child is being treated or how they are progressing.
The “Learning Center Approach” has its place. For some students, learning in groups can work, but the school that your child attends most likely has many opportunities for this type of interaction. The danger to this tutoring approach, however, is that some students get lost—particularly those already struggling with the material. Falling behind can also affect a student socially as they become aware of the difference between their level of understanding and that of their peers.
